Aak, is a flowering plant which is native to Africa, Asia and China and is known for its excellent medicinal values. Aak is considered as a scared plant in India and is used in sun-worshipping ceremonies. The Aak has two varieties which blooms white flowers or pinkish white flowers. Even though the plant’s juice is highly poisonous, surprisingly it is being used in Ayurvedic treatment for centuries. But the preparation of medicine needs great care and experience. The roots, leaves, flowers, milky fluid and wood of Aak are very useful and is known for its high medicinal values.
