Abhraka Bhasma (or Abhrak Bhasm) is an ayurvedic medicine used for treating respiratory disorders, mental diseases, psychosomatic disorders, liver, and abdominal diseases, etc. It is calcined mica ash. The various terms of this medicine are abarbhasm, Calcined mica, Mica ash, oxidized mica, Biotite calx, Abhrakacalx, etc.
It is prepared through the calcination of mica along with plant sap, juices, and decoctions. The actual process of preparation has to be done carefully and may take a long time.
Usage of Abhraka Bhasma

Acidity, heartburn, ulcer, hepatitis, etc abdominal (abdomen and liver) diseases are treated using Abhraka. Jaundice, hepatitis, liver enlargement, ulcerative colitis treatment also involve the usage of Abhraka.
Respiratory, heart, and blood diseases are also treated using mica ash. It also calms the mind.
