Rasakarpura is a medicine which can be used in the form of pills or powder as well. It is a mixture of mineral and herbal components which should not be taken without medical advice. It has purified and refined mercury with a certain percentage of rock salt and processed sulphur as well. It is made with the help of heat and requires an average of six hours to prepare.
Usage of Rasakarpuraa

Rasakarpura is used to cure eczema, skin diseases, dysentery, leucoderma, diarrhoea, boils, helminthiasis, ulcers, pruritis, cancroids and lasting wounds.
It also is well known to treat microbial infections and worm infestations.
Ayurvedic Properties of Rasakarpuraa
It is good for the healthy functioning of the body as it brings a much-needed equilibrium in the Pitta and Kapha in one’s anatomy. It is advised to be taken with cinnamon powder. It is taken under the medical supervision of Ayurvedic doctors only with a maximum dosage of 2 to 5 milligrams per day. It should be taken after meals once a day to avoid any over-dosage or side effects.
Side Effects of Rasakarpuraa
- Pregnant and lactating women should take a break from using Rasakarpura.
- It is not suitable for children and hence should be kept out of their reach.
- It should be stored in a cool and dry place.
- It should be taken only as advised by licensed experts of the medical world. Self-medication and over-dosage have harmful consequences.
